We all know the best of the
Summertime passes quickly so make the most of the
season and get along to our evening sessions and make
the most of those precious hours after work to blow
away the cobwebs, feel really good about yourself
and spend time improving your skills.
This combination of short focused
tuition sessions, interspersed with personal practice
over a 6 week period will build a rock solid foundation
of skills and techniques, and allow you to see fundamental
and lasting improvements in your riding.
These sessions are perfect if you like to learn at
a relaxed pace and will help you develop your skills
without feeling overwhelmed.
You'll be best suited if you
have some experience of riding but want to improve
- as a guide for suitability you'll be an intermediate
rider who is happy to tackle most red graded trails.

WHATS COVERED IN THE
COURSE?
There are a set of core techniques
that will allow you to develop your skills and improve
speed and attack when mountain biking. All of these
skills will be covered over the six sessions.
After each evening you'll get
practice points which will allow you to go away and
practice, digest and consolidate in your own time
between sessions. Thse short, focused sessions will
help you keep focussed on each evenings skills and
help reduce physical and mental fatigue.
You will need to provide or
hire your own mountain bike for these sessions as
hire bikes are not available from Glentress during
the evening. Please ensure your bike is in good working
order - a safety check will be completed before you
will be allowed to participate in the course.
