We've had another busy month at events. Since the launch of The Clan, we've done another 5 events including a couple filmed by STV and the BBC. Look out for us on your tellies!
We joined the Cycling Action Plan for Scotland at shopping centres across Scotland with our kick-start show to attract people to their stand. Danny and Duncan were in action with some new tricks and HUGE hops. Check out our media page for some photos of the event. You'll also be able to see a short news section on us until the end of September on STV's website here (3 minutes in if you get restless). In addition to this we were at the finish of the Pedal for Scotland event in Edinburgh to welcome back thousands of cyclists from their cycle from Glasgow. Not to mention putting on a performance to open a new sports centre in Glasgow, it's been all go!

Come along to Linlithgow Palace for the very first show with our new name! Historic Scotland are hosting 'Active 08' event from 12:30 - 4:30 at Linlithgow Palace. The Clan will be doing a show every hour, on the hour. We've got new stunts to go with our new name so it should be a cracker!
UPDATE - just back from the event and what a success with a great crowd to cheer us on! Look out for our performance in our promo video which will be ready next month. We'll upload some photos when they come through as well.

We've just finished our first tour as the newly formed team of 5 riders. We've been all across Scotland performing as 'The Riderz' for Cycling Scotland as part of their drive to get kids to cycle to school. It has been an amazing experience and we couldn't believe from day one how loud and enthusiastic the kids would be. From 500 kids in Edinburgh to 50 at Old Rayne, they screamed their heads off! Check out the video of Old Rayne on our media page.

The Clan have been entertaining the crowds at the Loch lomond 'Get Active' festival (photos on our media page). We had a great response and even managed to interview round-the-world record holding cyclist Mark Beaumont as part of Sunday's shows. We ran the Big Bang experience, complete with the Timbertrail and the events folk loved it -
"I thought your show was fantastic! Many thanks to you and all the riders. I really loved how you got the crowd going, and got the kids involved cheering etc, it gave the place a great atmosphere. The riders were superb and obviously at the top of their game. Great show."
